Best of luck with that…I’d expect the travel/tourist industries will be significantly impacted for several years to come.
I once read a fictional detective story where a terrorist demanded that all tourists leave Paris or he would blow something up. So they did, and tout Paris wandered out on their own streets rejoicing that all those tasteless boors were gone.
I wonder if they feel that way now.
I was supposed to travel to Switzerland for business at the end of May; now it’s been postponed until the end of July. Even if my employer approves international travel by that time–or any kind of travel–does Switzerland really want me there? I’d wager not.
We’ll be there next year.
