Former President Donald Trump demanded that the military recall two former four-star officers who criticized him so they could be court-martialed, a new book says.
Sacred Oath? Is there a clause in this oath saying it’s so sacred you have to wait until it’s too damn late to do anything about an actual madman in office?

And if they were recalled to active duty? Then what?
Did TFG think he would order the Court Martial Judges to convict, then hold a trial?

While I agree with that, I would only add that he is a committed fascist and wannabe reckless, immoral, unethical, authoritarian who holds the U.S. Constitution in contempt.
But, per Esper, Trump only relented after Milley “promis[ed] that he would personally call the officers and ask them to dial it back.”

If Milley did place any calls, I’d bet they were something along the lines of “you’ll never guess what that stupid sonovabitch said today.”

He had, and still has no regard most any institution of the federal government unless he could control them with his tiny hands.

All this could have been avoided had TFG procured polonium, or he could have had these guys escorted out the window of a 5 story building.
This tantrum was of course, not for disloyalty to the U.S.
The sad truth is that all of these “astonishing” revelations about Trump will likely amount to nothing. For people who were paying attention while Trump was President none of this should surprise you or change your opinion of him in any way. For avid Trump supporters these revelations will be considered either lies or something to be proud of. The rest of the public, who doesn’t pay any attention to politics, will never be aware of any of this since they’re too busy watching sports or reading celebrity gossip or whatever to bother with such details.
