Eric Greitens, the disgraced former governor of Missouri seeking political redemption in a MAGA-fied U.S. Senate bid, released a campaign ad Monday advertising a “hunting permit” for his political opponents — so-called “RINOs,” or “Republicans in Name Only.”
What do you expect from a Navy SEAL? And they are out in force…
The six conservative-minded SEALs include Morgan Luttrell in Texas’s 8th Congressional District, Brady Duke for Florida’s 7th District, Eli Crane for Arizona’s 2nd District, Derrick Van Orden for Wisconsin’s 3rd District, Ed Thelander for Maine’s 1st District, and Ryan Zinke for Montana’s 1st District.
My gut reaction is too simply say “disqualify the bastard from running for any political office in the US.” But I realize our Constitution allows for free speech, so I’ll simply ask for a Civil Involuntary Detention that is permissible in the state of Missouri.
From the guy who slapped his kid so hard that he damaged the child’s teeth, and the guy who tied up a woman stripped off her clothes and took pictures of her to use as black mail.
He thanks WaPo for covering this heinous ad. Greitens may want to lay off the steroids.
I met several kids that wanted to be SEALs, not a single one that I would like for my daughters. By the very nature of the outfit, it attracts thugs, just like SWAT teams.
Greitens resigned the governorship in 2018 amid allegations that at various times he bound, photographed, sexually assaulted and blackmailed a woman. Greitens acknowledged having an extra-marital affair but denied the allegations of assault and blackmail.
So imagine if Greitans supporters, because many people of the MAGA cult are prone to acting out on command pulled a stunt like this where someone actually answered the door and put a cap in them or engaged in a Hatfield and McCoy like shootout.
If Greitens has ever referred to any nameable person as a “RINO” I would think there is more than adequate grounds for prosecution here. Free speech does not allow for making death threats against other people.
