Trump wants a Nobel so much he’ll likely resort to some ham-handed pressure scheme to get one. It is stuck deep in has craw Obama has one, and he hates it. Detests it with a white hot hatred he can barely conceal.
Maybe a naval blockade of Norway. Or 1000% tariffs. A cutoff of military sales. Whatever form it takes, it will reek of desperation, and be some form of Mafioso menace.

This case will be before the Supreme Court soon, where the right-wing majority will have to decide whether it’s willing to greenlight an egregious violation of the separation of powers in service of beefing up the Trump presidency.
Don’t we kinda know how this is going to go with SCOTUS? What pretzel logic will they use to justify the recissions? What kind of out-one’s-butt philosophy will allow the President to do whatever he cares to?

Trump should just shoot someone on 5th Avenue, free from legal consequences, and finally dispense with any notion he’s subject to our laws. And make no mistake, if he did shoot someone, he’d pay no penalty for doing it. He wouldn’t be arrested, nor charged, nor prosecuted.

Well, aside from the oil, it does have one very cool natural feature in Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world. It’s amazing, falls from a high mesa in the middle of the jungle. I visited there in the late 70’s, back when you flew into Camp Canaima on a DC-3, very Indiana Jones-ish.

Venezuela is a beautiful country with many natural wonders. I remember seeing something about Angel Falls, it was discovered by a pilot with the last name of Angel who crashed his plane in the discovery. It was once a very happy and prosperous country, so sad all the turmoil it’s people are going through. And at risk of sounding shallow and sexist some of the most gorgeous people on the planet.
