This article is part of TPM Cafe, TPM’s home for opinion and news analysis. It was originally published at Balls and Strikes. On Tuesday, President Donald Trump held one of his trademark rallies at a casino resort in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. As is usually the case when Trump has a microphone and a captive audience, he spent most…
The correct response here is to download the Judicial Ethics complaint form from the Third Circuit and file a complaint. You don’t have to be a litigant, but you do have to sign the complaint. (And tell your friends to do the same!)

“For, after all, how do we know that two and two make four? Or that the force of gravity works? Or that the past is unchangeable? If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind, and if the mind itself is controllable – what then?” ― George Orwell, 1984
Some people who are conservative, these days, I have found they immediately cop that politics is opinion, full stop. Everyone is opinionated, full stop. Therefore, a judge being a loyal (fill in the blank, but they mean, GOP and/or Christian sectarian) first and a judge second is all how things always work, and we are the crybabies who can’t handle the rough and tumble of politics.
You can see the beads of sweat as they try to make themselves believe this malarkey.
Or, are the beads of sweat coming from their cognitive dissonance as they do not think their own views are “opinions” at all, but rather the Truth, to be imposed with enthusiasm and reason can go fuck itself?
When you are born you get the face you were born with. As you get old, you make your own face.
Plato made that argument. It’s one reason, and not a small one, why one must seek to be good. For Plato, ugly outside is ugly inside, and beautiful inside is beautiful outside.
Interesting in light of the reporting that the DOJ has asked around 10 states for access to their voter rolls. Seems to me that if a federal judge shows up at a campaign rally, then they have effectively shown their political bias.
Whoever asked Bove why he was at the hate-fest should have followed up after Bove’s responded that he was there to hear what the president had to say. Next question: “Like what you’re hearing, Emil?”
I have a question for someone more learned in constitutional law.
If the House were to impeach a judge, would that judge be able to hear cases while awaiting trial in the Senate? What about a Supreme Court Justice or justices?
If the Democrats were to retake the House and Senate and impeached a judge or Supreme Court Justice with the expectations that it is unlikely to get 67 senators to vote for conviction, while the Senate deliberated how to conduct the trial, would that Justice be excluded from deciding a case. What if it was 3 or 4 Supreme Court Justices that were impeached in the House and awaiting trial in the Senate, would all those Justices be able to take part in cases while awaiting their conclusion of their Senate trial?
Hmmmm. If he just wanted to watch the President speak, he could have sat in his rec room and watched on TV. And no one would have known. Showing up at a Trump rally is a statement.
Emil Bove Went to a Trump Rally Because He Supports Donald Trump
… … … … … … …
Am I supposed to be suprised?
If Emil Bove were, right this minute, to sincerely repent and turn away from his corrupt behavior, and devote all his time and energy to improving himself and undoing the damage he has done, he might – might – in the space of just a few years manage to elevate himself all the way up to the level of festering pond scum.
He’s more crooked than any corkscrew ever made.
And the goddam GOPnik Senators confirmed him.
