Soon after completing his $44 billion Twitter purchase, Tesla CEO Elon Musk discovered that advertisers aren’t interested in playing along with his vision of “free speech” — not if that vision means gutting the platform’s content moderation policies that kept neo-Nazis from turning Twitter into 4chan.
Gonna be honest here, never really saw why being frist was so exciting. I would be glad to supply a cute picture of a cat but I’m told there already are decent numbers of cat pictures on the intertubes. Glad we could have this talk.

I wish any sort of settlement with TFG would include the stipulation that he was a horrible person.
I am probably not alone in having extremely mixed feelings regarding Mr. Musk. The first temptation would be write him off as a rich jerk. However, he is obviously an extremely bright person: perhaps a genius, and he has done some really good things. Try to imagine what would have happened if he hadn’t freely provided Starlink to The Ukraine (Even if he gripped about it afterwards…). Also, while I think his purchase of Twitter is really bad on multiple levels, he has every right to try to make money on it. ‘The Internet must be free (of charge)’ philosophy always struck me as childish and unworkable. What truly valuable service is free? For example, I now pay subscription fees for WAPO and the NYT. Both newspapers provide me with great info that would not otherwise be available to me. I don’t expect them to be ‘free’.
Heck, I can just look at the chair where Doofus sleeps every morning, no need for the google.
