We’ve known about this for a while thanks to TPM, but it will be news to most people, and this message shows planning for the event to go down like this, as well as the entire march up to the Capitol. And, it shows a willingness to ignore permits and the Park Service rules…all of that looks very suspicious. It also ropes Trump in, because his “spontaneous” call to march was in fact part of the plan for the day…connect that to the Hutchinson testimony that Trump tried to push going to the Capitol (even without the steering wheel grab) and it links together a lot of elements of the day being run through the White House in a plot to undo the election result.
All they need now is to show that the violence was included in the plan…if there’s any linkage at all between the White House and the groups that stormed the Capitol then that pretty much nails the coffin shut.

I think the big takeaway the Republicans got out of Watergate was “don’t tape yourself while you are plotting or committing a crime.” Obviously, Trump didn’t learn that lesson but, I fear the takeaway lesson the Republicans will get from these hearings will be: “Don’t tape yourself while you’re plotting a coup.”
Hell, Trump didn’t just tape most of this, he did it on national TV! Yet, look at all of the trouble everyone has to go through to “prove” that Trump really did what everyone saw him do on national TV. That’s scary.

I think the January 6 Coup would have achieved its intended goals if Skanky, the coup militia and the armed mob had marched on the Supreme Court. Ginni and Eastman likely had the Justices and pre-written decisions teed up. Anybody know why the Court was spared?

Then President Donald Trump plotted insurrection and incited violence against another branch of government, i.e. the Congress, the legislative branch and its individual members, and incredibly, against his own Vice President, Mike Pence. And, now we learn, that there were planned protest and disruptive events outside the SCOTUS? Trump needs to be behind bars for the rest of his life.
