Libyan officials have begun tallying votes from the country’s first free election since Muammar Qaddafi first came to power in 1969. While results are not yet official, it appears that the coalition under the National Forces Alliance, led by interim Prime Minister Mahmud Jibril, will take the largest share of legislative seats. Said Jibril: “There was no loser and winner at all. Whoever is going to win, Libya is the real winner of those elections.”
