Election Deniers Have A New Target In Big Lie Crusade: A Non-Profit That Does Voter Roll Maintenance

This week, three states caved to election deniers’ newest conspiracy theory and withdrew from a multistate voter-registration program—even though officials in at least one of the states recently admitted that it actually helped them root out double-voting issues.

Sigh
I remember when some states dropped ERIC to do Kobach’s disaster of a program only to rehire Eric to run Kobach’s list of false positives.

These fucking fuckers are so fucking tedious and toxic and I am so fucking tired of every last fucking one of them. Go get an idiotic but harmless hobby like yelling at clouds and STFU already.

One of the reasons exhaustion can set in is the constant demand to not only listen to the paranoid fantasies of conspiracy freaks but the demand to distort the functioning of institutions in an attempt to assuage their fears, an attempt that is never rewarded with success commensurate to the trouble it causes.

Our patchwork political system resembles a sunflower starfish that is beset by opportunistic microorganisms flourishing in overheated waters that is causing its body to rot and its limbs to float away.

Just shows that all of the election denial crap is not rational. They’ve broken with reality. They’re literally insane.

All the Right needs to be able to do is cheat on some 40,000 votes. Getting rid of ERIC will make this easier.

Somebody probably checked the political preferences of those caught cheating.

Lemme guess - a “non-profit,” “owned and operated” by Donald Trump?

As long as we keep caving to these fucking cave dwellers, they will keep pushing their bullshit. Someone needs to tell these halfwit assholes to go fuck themselves already.

OT - true story

I have a new client in my business. Yesterday, I made a house-call to this client. To perform my work, I needed to walk all throughout her condo. While walking around the condo, I couldn’t help but notice the dozens of pictures on the walls. In these pictures are: Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, etc. Also, in all of these pictures, is one particular man.

This client told me, while I was visiting, that something, such and such, hasn’t happened “since her husband died.” So, I assumed the guy that’s in all the pictures, with all the presidents, must have been her husband and was a very “important” guy. I learn from her that her husband’s name is “Harry.” Her last name is “Barnes.”

On my way home, I google “Harry Barnes.”

Turns out, her husband was a diplomat during the terms of multiple presidents, in the 60’s and 70’s.

I read further, to make sure that this guy’s wife’s name is the name of my client’s wife.

It is.

I read further that this client had an affair with a Romanian chauffer, while her husband was a diplomat in Romania. And there was a quite scandalous broo-ha-ha, ballyhoo, concerning this affair. To the point of an investigation to make sure there was no spying going on, and no important information given back and forth…

I’m adding this person onto my list of “brushes with greatness.”

And while I was typing this comment, I was interrupted by a phone call…from her.

???

Please don’t tell her I told you any of this…

Just one question. Did this brouhaha, this ballyhoo of which you speak, result in a hullabaloo?

States are in charge of elections – sometimes unfortunately so, but overall probably a good thing. Imagine if the federal government were running elections while Donald Trump was President

Florida, West Virginia, and Missouri; well, that explains it. (Walks off scratching his head.)

When the Mainstream Republicans allowed Trump to stop the customary Pivot after the 2016 GOP Convention…

--THEY SURRENDERED THEMSELVES TO TRUMP, TRAGICALLY--

And they remain–the mainstream Republicans–cowed, silent, caustic and just as powerless, having surrendered their party to the worst fascist in recent history

“With Florida’s enrollment in [ERIC], the OECS has used data provided by ERIC to identify approximately 1,177 voters who appear to have voted in Florida and in one of the other member states, in the same election,” the report said.

So, what changed?

Uh, they realized that’s likely 1100 snowbirds double-voting?

The time might soon be approaching when these states start losing people - a serious brain drain. It’s inevitable sooner or later. And I really hope there’s a great Democratic candidate to run against Hawley.

Not at all. They just don’t like the “who” of the double voters that system is identifying.

You know how baseball has stats like the power/speed number?

To quantify these bozos, we need a dumb/crazy number, because these idiots sure have a great deal of both.
