When your whole news gathering world is crazy…well then add some faith in there…and you’ve got believers in things that aren’t true. This is not in the metaphysical sense, just how everyday things always seem to be out to get these folks.
The GOP is anti-government and yet they run for office. So this makes a kind of stupid GOP sense. A GOP candidate who doesn’t believe in elections is running in an election.
I don’t know how everyone feels about the media coverage of all these primaries, but I get disgusted hearing them put all their emphasis on Trump and “his candidates.” I understand some people think it’s important we be aware who these people are, but how it’s presented - even within the liberal media - is enthusiastically focused on Trump candidates and his influence on the elections. They tend to quickly skirt over those winning candidates that were not backed by Trump, then go on and on about Trump’s candidates and his influence in our election process. When will it stop!?! I just pray that the J6 committee hearings will be successful in helping erase this outsized influence TFG has on the media.

Sadly, as crazy as 30-40% of the population is apparently. Historically, these far-right lunatics would be great news for Dems going into an election. But all bets are off now… Our two-party system is so bad under these circumstances. As someone from Europe commented (on a Times story), so much of our system is under the “honor system.” Thus, when one party has no honor, we have what we have now.
