E. Jean Carroll on the Verge of Prying $5M from Trump

He can’t delay more. The money is already sitting in the registry of the court. The clerk can issue the full payment at any moment now.

Ok this makes absolutely no sense. Deporting migrants to a country that is not their home country, or even some place in the continent where they’re from is crazy. And of course paying some other country to take these migrants.
But then again is this is a new norm then doesn’t this open up to sending DonOLD somewhere in Africa after he’s tried and convicted?

It’s on the First Felon for abusing the legal system. It’s on the legal system for allowing the abuse.

I needed the break to escape the continual unchecked insanity from the Orange Idiot. And trying to come to grips with the fact that there is absolutely nothing going to change until the midterms. He has lost all touch with reality and no longer cares about the optics or outcomes of his actions and his enablers need him in office to stay out of jail themselves. So its going to come down to the American voters in November, nothing else really matters

In meetings about antitrust issues, Woodward has questioned why the DOJ can’t simply stop reviewing deals and suggested that blocking a merger could violate a company’s constitutionally protected due process rights, according to some of the people, who are familiar with his remarks.

Does Stanley Woodward need to do some pro se work as a defendant?

Then the Even More Supreme Court, then the Supreme Supreme Court, then the We’re not even kidding this is the Supreme Court, then ok this really is the most Supreme Court.

I’m sure TSF will try to appeal the appeals court denial to the supreme court this morning, who will sit on it so they don’t offend the orange toad.

I’d say it’s going to come down to who counts the votes in November, and whose votes they choose to count.

Allegedly he’s requested that SCOTUS revisit their decision. Although SCOTUS docket watchers say the proper filing hasn’t been submitted. Assuming his legal team do in fact properly request a rehearing, SCOTUS probably is on some sort of new clock requiring their decision to revisit their original decision. And doubtless there isn’t a statutorily required response period. They can announce they are, or aren’t, revisiting the case at their leisure. Meanwhile, because the case is now officially back before them, the courts will accede to Trump’s demand payment continues to be withheld. I’m wondering how many times a litigant can file for a rehearing before SCOTUS, with each new filing alleging this appeal is on new grounds, and not merely a demand to rehash the case on its original grounds? If Trump can attain one rehearing, or at least delay things by demanding one, what’s to say he can’t do it 5 or 10 times? The public is severely misinformed in thinking once you’ve lost at SCOTUS the game is over. Evidently it’s “Thanks for ruling against me, now let’s do all that again a few more times for this case.”

His continued absurd fight on the Carroll issue doesn’t make me very hopeful about the Iran war ending any time before his death…

I’m hoping that the public reaction against the Repubs because of the war will somehow get him to stop at least a few days before the midterms, but honestly I don’t know if he’ll care about that nearly as much as he cares about his lifelong number one personal priority: I CANNOT BE PERCEIVED TO LOSE AT ANYTHING!!! MY EGO WILL NOT TOLERATE IT!

Maybe its time for E Jean Carroll to start seizing assets? Freeze his accounts? Put liens on his properties?

She would have to get the courts to order those actions. You know, the same courts that have ordered Trump pay her the money. And we all see how well that’s worked out.

All those steps require legal action, which take two to three business decades to complete.
