Steele Dossier got the general essence of the Russian interference campaign in the 2016 elections right pretty much in real time. Manafort, Flynn, Cohen (and I believe Gates?) were all named in the dossier and each faced investigation, prosecution and conviction (by trial or plea). The Trumpers kept the notion of the Dossier being āwrongā by raising the bar for an intel document. History will vindicate what Steele did.

Right before COVID hit I remember a Trumpnik guy in my neighborhood telling me the Durham Report was going be a bombshell, and āexpose Democrat dirty tricks.ā Well. Here we are.
[Edit: I wish now that three years ago when Durham began his uneventful journey Iād said to that Trumpnik āOK, letās make a bet here-- you describe in some detail what you think will happen with the Durham Report, and I describe what I think will happen.ā Then wager something on it, $20 or lunch or something that would commemorate the loss officially. Chances are he would weasel out of it somehow anyway, since he thinks WMDs might still be found in Iraq. No joke.]
