What would this nation come to if we couldn’t both sides high crimes and misdemeanors?

Nonsense. Durham was just given a job, and he did that job. He investigated.

Trump should have to repay it.

At some point Durham became aware that there was nothing of substance to build cases … but his willful pursuit of a propaganda objective and a belligerent refusal to acknowledge that his quest was without merit, drove him to continue - no matter the moral compromise & mutilation / distortions of truth he had to craft. It was at this time that his soul retreated to his lower colon and departed at the first opportunity.

The job he did was to package shit sandwiches for the RW media. I say we get the money back.

ETA. @jinnj said it better. Durham executed a political hit job in a naked destruction of the line between the executive branch and DOJ.

Also - Don’t think he will get a lot of traction when he says:

“Hey! Let’s switch sides and support Putin & crap on the Ukrainians”

Not if Lockheed Martin, Boeing, McDonnell Douglas or Raytheon have anything to say about it.

Barr also drew an early conclusion about what took place, saying that “the use of foreign intelligence capabilities and counterintelligence capabilities against an American political campaign to me is unprecedented and it’s a serious red line that’s been crossed.”

Oh, you mean Putin, right?

I believe it was Joseph diGenova the other day who opined that Durham intended to lose the Danchenko trial all along, as a means of exposing the FBI or something.

Ah, but the US isn’t like UK - we’re exceptional!!! That won’t happen to us. We’ll do it harder and better… [/s]

Question - will it now become as much of a circus as searching the next host of Jeopardy?

… or make it into its own game show -
“WHO WANTS TO BE A PRIME MINISTER?”

Kind of like the cat that falls off the shelf and nonchalantly walks away with an attitude of ‘I meant to do that’???

More in the sense of “He meant to do a malicious prosecution.”
