So lets set CA on fire, again.
So does the 2A cover pipe bombs?

They had pipe bombs and lots of guns and a belt fed machine gun, and still enjoy breathing privileges.
I agree but even loners today hang out in groups via social media. Eveb before social media, the Oklahoma City Bombing was carried by four “loners”.
I agree completely with your assessment of the character of most of these people. My caveat is that all it takes is 1% of them to be more disciplined, brighter and more determined, and we’re in a world of shit. Another Timothy McVeigh is not hard to conjure up out of the swamp of these folks.
My work mostly involved face-to-face interaction so I just took the year off, mostly, and invested in gear and skills. Learned to sharpen kitchen knives, just random stuff like that. Last winter I was pretty down but most of the time it wasn’t actually that bad. Hiked with friends, tried recipes from YouTube, not the worst year for me personally. We were lucky compared to so many. : (
MyPillow Guy is this generation’s low rent William Luther Pierce, something I never thought was possible.
Authentic frontier jibberish.
But they did it their way.
But remember, it’s BLM and Antifa who are the real terrorists!
My SIL – who’s been hunkered down since the pandemic began – finally mustered the courage to venture out into public. She was fully immunized (Pfizer) and fully masked and went to a single exercise class. Today, her doctor confirmed she has delta.
And Israel, the world’s most immunized country by a long shot – per Pfizer, the gold standard – is in the midst of the biggest spike since March:
From JPo:
“…at the moment, around 60% of the patients in serious conditions were vaccinated.”
We are far, far, far from the end of this tunnel.
(BTW, have I mentioned that I’m available for children’s parties?)
Absolutely. The question is how much to worry.
Perhaps our obsession with valuing “individualism” is playing in our favor. If you ultimately believe in the freedom of the individual as the be-all, end-all, it’s hard to justify sacrificing your own individual life as part of that cause. There’s an inherent tension there.
Jeeze. Of course the vaccines tend to greatly reduce the risk of serious disease if you do get infected. Good wishes to her.
Don’t forget the instigator’s level of competence doesn’t inspire confidence. He can whip up rubes but the smart ones you need to successfully execute a coup have to look at him and say “Nah, my loyalty ends where my skin begins”.
Do they still call him the “Grand Emperor of the United States”? Title seems to be getting a little threadbare.
Only if they’re well regulated.
Don’t forget to take into account of Trump’s trick, “oh will have a plan ready in 2 weeks”. Trump’s has 2 weeked so many subjects, but a some point there will be a some that finally figure out he’s full of shit. And then a few of the some will get mad, and they may hold Trump in disgust, but they’ll act out on their rage because they’ll decide that Trump is a fraidy cat.
Apropos of nothing, a bunch of fifth graders were snap chatting pictures of one another’s junk around intermediate school. I keep trying to impress upon my son: don’t even take the picture, because the moment you snap a cell phone photo it’s out of your control. Even if you fully. read and comprehended the EULA and became intimately familiar with the permissions of every app, you’re still just trusting some anonymous corpo to honor their word and pray they don’t get bought out by some other, less scrupulous corpo.
Back to the routine of being careful. Not that we stopped, but shields are raising with more power diverted from nonessentials.
The blame for this is squarely on the Republicans and their propaganda arms. Maybe we can call this the tucker Carlson phase. The man who keeps stealing the light from the end of the tunnel.
