i would love to have a 3 or 4 pounder for a meal.

When I was a kid, we lived on a county-maintained road out in the country west of Austin. It was paved, but it was barely two lanes, with no shoulder and only bar ditches for drainage. Every election year, a work crew would come out and throw some asphalt into the potholes, and we’d joke that our county commissioner must want to be re-elected.
Trump won’t even do that much, figuratively speaking, even, it appears, for those states he absolutely has to win if he hopes to be re-elected. At some point (and maybe it’s coming, with Cornyn joining Cruz to say, however politely, that he needs to do his damn job), all this “standing with Trump” talk from GOPers up for re-election is going to leave a really bad taste in these people’s mouths as they realize he’s not going to stand with them.

To put this in perspective, the current rate of positives tested in Boston’s general population has been running ~ 2% for a while now - so the variance w/ protesters is minimal

I like this one…(I still say how sad it is that the Secret Service are sick for no good reason). They don’t choose their assignments. tRump will probably have his own private security of goobers, goons and good ole’ boys fill in, and use our tax dollars to pay for them.

Did anyone mention that Don Jr. was Donald’s opening act in AZ? And Jr. has secret service protection, so wouldn’t it be prudent if the Secret Service, for the health and safety of it’s teams, keep the teams separated?

I think the entire Secret Service should quarantine themselves until after the election. They’ll need their strength to drag Fat Nixon out of the White House.
