According to WaPo 2 of the 6 workers who tested positive before the event were SS workers and they were in planning meetings with SS workers who went to the event. So the bit about contacts of those 6 not attending was not accurate.

“We want to make sure that we have a healthy workforce and that we are protecting our people,” an unnamed Secret Service official told CNN. “This is good common sense.”

The Secret Service official opted to remain unnamed because the above words would be considered treasonous by the president.

Of course SS wants to protect their workforce but their protectee does not give an effing about them and the only common sense he has is how to keep Trump rich and jail free!

That’s terrible. With all those agents sidelined it puts him and his family in such danger. :face_with_monocle: #prayforivanka

Black Lives Matter protests haven’t led to COVID-19 spikes. It may be due to people staying home.

It’s not over yet.

How many did he expose at the AZ rally?

How many will he expose at the Green Bay WI town hall?

Every time he does one of these public events, demanding no PPE for anyone, he ramps up the number of folks exposed (note, not necessarily the number confirmed). So if the average is 2% and there’s 1000 people there, there’s 20 new cases.

The virus doesn’t care who those 20 new cases are, either.

I read yesterday and Tuesday about the testing of BLM protesters in Boston and in Minneapolis. They tested over 20,000 people and found about 2 - 2.5% were confirmed infected.

The reason:

Most protesters wore masks.

Gee. How quaint…

If only they hadn’t been tested, they could have stayed on the job. Oddly enough, I doubt that Trump and his entourage will limit their testing.

Since these are vanity events, like his going without a mask, he, or his campaign, should pick up all costs associated with holding them, including the price of keeping a dozen plus secret service officers at home on quarantine.
The same should apply for all of the costs of running the White House to accommodate the heightened risk he creates with his fucking life style choices. Like all those extra tests that come from his being unmasked and playing games with social distancing.
