Don’t these n00bs realize the Mexican border is 2000 miles long? 50 troops/state ain’t gonna do it. 50 troops in Nogales city, AZ alone wouldn’t mean much.

This is a total waste of time and money, but if these big GOP donors want to spend their money on this boondoggle and NOT on electioneering in 2022, I’m all for it. The troops should stay for 6 months !!
BTW, did these geniuses figure out that the immigrants don’t migrate in the summertime, because its too un-Godly HOT to do so ?? I hope the National Guard troops bring a lot of water, playing cards and their Monopoly board games, because it could be real quiet in the Rio Grande valley. I’m just sayin’ !!

First off. How is this not a concern from right-wingers, or for that matter, any American, that a rich person can just ante up and get the national guard to do their bidding?
Also, how obscene is it that billionaires are willing to pay up for what is essentially, turning a state’s national guard into a private army, disguised as boarder security but they aren’t willing to pay up to help Americans?
