Possibly the incoming administration may slap tariffs on Canadien exports. Thankfully, the Green Mountain Boys preserved Vermont and domestic maple syrup.

All well and good, but pay no attention to L&O and SVU for their take on Legal Aid lawyers, or just about anything. That franchise did some good stuff, like showing the way police and the DA’s work together, but little else. Certainly not the way those combined resources overwhelm any resources available to some sad sack kid a very able Legal Aid lawyer is defending.
I come at this from two ways (short story version). A friend since high school who was raped in her Prospect Park Brooklyn apt. in the 1980’s. Also my alter-mother who was raped in her apt. in the '70’s, in a supposedly safe apt. on Charles St. Then, my daughter who has defended/appealed for a great variety of New Yorkers, most of whom really have committed very bad crimes – more murder than rape. (Funny, I’ve just realized. I’ve never heard her talk about a mere robber. It’s all murder and mayhem.) It’s a complicated world out there.
I wish my alter-mom, Amy, a Jewish woman who’d been through a lot, were here to talk to my daughter, whose husband and children are Jewish. I try to be the medium.

Thanks for the link. I’ll consider. Google is slightly less overtly trump bootlicking than Bezos but still a big fat corporations with too many tentacles. Recharging option good. Blink uses nonrechargeable… There are some other systems out there I’ll research and share - if anything looks good. I’ve got a burglar alarm that’s monitored by a local company, but I like cams to see who comes around. I don’t want the alarm company to have TOO much monitoring access.
