Donors To George Santos, Tina Forte Flag Questionable Credit Card Charges

Late in the 2020 election cycle, one regular Republican donor said they were getting bombarded with messages asking them to contribute to a New York congressional candidate named George Santos. The donor, who asked that their name be withheld since they are not a public person, checked in with then-Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), who, at the time, was representing a House district adjacent to the one where Santos was running on Long Island.

When I first heard about Santos I thought, “what a turd”. I really hope this is a lesson for Dems to perform due diligence. I’m flummoxed as to why with so many pieces of evidence piling up around this schmuck he wasn’t destroyed in the election.

Question: if he is kicked out the House or maybe even turfed out by Repubs, is there a special election or do they appoint another Repub to replace him?

If he leaves, the seat would remain empty until a special election.

Trump has to turn up his game.
He is being out lied by Santos and Trump always has to be #1.

The political strategerist in me begs Santos to stay right where he is. He’s the model gqp congresscritter. Let’s assign him to the Intelligence Committee, Kev. Perhaps the Foreign Relations Committee? He apparently knows how to partner productively with Putin.

Yes, George is a teachable moment for however long he serves (gag) in the House.

Let’s keep him in the spotlight.

You should’ve seen the other guy. This unbelievable team needs to look at entitled nebbish Robert Zimmerman and see how he screwed this up so royally. You do need two shoes to make a pair. And we don’t want him running again because clearly there is no one he couldn’t lose to.

James Carville said Santos is a divine act of God. “You couldn’t crate a person like that if you tried.” He said he is the perfect representation of the state of the Republican Party. All bullshit, all performance, no substance whatsoever.

Keep him around.

I think he’s set the standard for future newcomers to the R party.

A magnet of malice.
They are attracted to it like flies on bullcrap.
Like moths to flame.
Trump just lit the candle.
One sure thing about the Freedom Cockheads.
They imagine themselves more powerful than they will ever actually become.
Their only course is destruction now and they will go there because they have no choice, they have promised their lynch mob too much revenge, if they don’t offer up a victim they might turn on them.
It wasn’t a Democrat VP they wanted to hang, now was it?
Every Republican who ISN’T in that Free Dumb Club knows just how volatile those mobs can get. And they are afraid of them more than any Democrat because of it.
Anyone who thinks that’s a joke should read it more carefully.

Santos is the Fastest Lie in the West.
If bullshit was a six-shooter, he’d be a real gunsllnger.
Hershel was quick with a lie, too, but Santos rolls with the best of them. He has that “instant lie” ability that makes it sound like he’s innocent.
Have any of you ever watched a snake mesmerize a bird in a nest?
I have.
Looks a lot like Santos working his donor base.

Just as an aside, WinRed sounds like a real shitshow*.

By comparison, the only time in nearly 20 years of contributions through ActBlue that an erroneous donation was charged to me, they fixed it immediately and my money was refunded within a day or two.

*It’s a Republican operation, so I’m not exactly surprised, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.

Just one of the reasons I only make campaign contributions via check. Issued by my bank — I’m not a total Luddite.

I like this this article and it ties in nicely with this article over at Mother Jones, because they had more information about the GOP operative or Treasurer Nancy Marks, which I think everyone will find interesting.

For my way of believing both posts are spot on.
So much so I ask my educated wife, who taught European History, studied in Europe and her father fought in WWII to read your Post. She agrees 100%.
I don’t ask her to read my crap because she says I can fix that but that would not be me.

I can’t believe that a Republican would do something like that, says the donor who is going to get scammed again. None of this coming from the TFG ongoing hustles would surprise me.
