As was mentioned by someone yesterday tthe pace of the Trump litigation has picked up since Fox News decided to openly back Ron Desantis. Apparently Trump has finally lost the support of the oligarchs behind right wing media and the dark money funders responsible for much of the corruption plaguing American government. I wonder if they aren’t the same people.
I strongly suspect Cannon’s getting additional support behind the scenes and cares not one whit about her career. I’m sure someone has tried to have a serious talk with her about her approach to this case. Clearly, if it has happened, she hasn’t listened.
Thanks, but, you know, if you turned the title of this article into a single word, terriblehorriblenogoodverybadday, you would also not have any trouble either understanding it or remembering how to spell it.
Same thing here. Just looks worse because you don’t know the individual components.
Of course, it’s knowing the components that’s the hard part.

LGBTQ are not pedophiles and rapists. BUT REPUBLICANS are and churches are FULL of them. ONCE AGAIN: pretentious hypocrisy is the hallmark of Republicans. They ALWAYS accuse others of that which THEY are themselves guiltiest. Every time they do this, they tell on themselves.
Problem is that DOJ gave Cannon latitude they never should have given her.
I’m shocked that Trusty didn’t bring up this fact at the hearing.
DOJ made his argument for him, by initially not fighting Cannon’s equitable jurisdiction claim, thereby making it seem like former presidents should be treated differently.
“But his exhaustion of the legal paths to fight the committee, and especially the Supreme Court’s refusal to weigh in, does amount to a vindication of the rule of law, albeit a modest one.”
What are the rules so far as the House sharing the fruits of any investigation with the Senate? So time is short to make good use of Trump’s tax returns. Certainly no committee is furthering the investigation in the new session. What if they just shipped them off to the Senate? Once the new House is sworn in they’re getting dumped into a black hole. Can the Senate just pick up where House Dems left off?
