For work that has already been done. This is a typical Trumpian move. Stiff the people who have performed a job. He has bankrupted more small businesses that way than can be counted. One reason he went into franchising his name instead of actually building any new things is that nobody will sign any contracts with the cheater. They know they will get stiffed!
I’m shocked, shocked to find that mental illness is going on in here…
I…ronic?
Not me. I heard way too much lion during Chiselin’ Trump’s speech last night.
It’s just yet more destruction - throwing obstacles in the path of ever being able to resurrect these government departments in an effective manner, by not having any place to put them. Along with relocating what’s left to deepest dumbfuckistan - AL,MS, etc.
Sounds like Malcolm Tucker in “The Thick of It.”
I am sure you know this, but he doesn’t care. Saying and doing what he wants is what counts, and he never pays a price for flip-flopping or being an idiot or hurting EVERYONE. It is what he does…and I don’t see that he’s ever been punished for it.
His party and their voters are fine with the damage, chaos, and insensibility of it all. Since he isn’t ever held to account, and never has to make sense, and can change on a dime while his adherents roar their approval…he doesn’t care what damage it causes. He always has ALL options available. Pretty sweet setup. If a Dem was even suspected of causing the price of dryer lint to edge up, we pay for it for decades.
ETA: And of course, he has no compunction about using fed funds to bribe, corrupt, or win back industries he hurts as long as he ‘likes’ them and they kiss his ass.
I’m not saying your analysis is wrong, but I believe that there is goodly number of folks that are realizing that Trump is not hurting the people they think need hurting. They’re waking up to the fact that somehow they sitting in the same boat.
He’ll ignore the decision and keep on doing what he’s doing
So there is no enforcement mechanism AT ALL for the courts to use? I don’t understand this. If the courts have this power, then it’s ludicrous there isn’t some independent enforcement.
The destruction in Gaza is such that $53 billion will make a small dent in rebuilding it. If Arab nations embark on a rebuild the cost overruns are going to be huge. This will become the F-35 of nation building.
Is ivermectin on that list, by any chance?
If RFK, Jr, were really opposed to a 'medical - industrial complex, I’d think he’d be adverse to supplying them with more patients.
Apparently not.
It was in France, I sense deliberate vandalism. I think we should dress up as Native Americans and push Teslas off a barge in the Boston Harbor. Bonus points if trump is in one, vance in one, and musk in one.
Reports were clocked at 100 minutes. Longest in history.
What they didn’t say was that it was the most vacuous in history, but I digress.
If there has ever been a more impotent, useless Speaker of the House, I cannot recall any. Liars, yes. There have been plenty of lying SOBs in that post, but they at least had some balls.
Are you sure about that?
“Funny Math Is Going To Be A Trump II Theme
The Trump administration has disbanded two expert committees that advised the Commerce Department on producing accurate economic statistics, the WSJ reports.”
But they’re keeping the random number generator used for his speeches.
Roberts is younger than Thomas - he’s got half a lifetime in front of him.
Sounds like the rules for the Wisconsin governor.
I have yet to read any analysis that explains what he wants in return. I suppose it’s possible that he’s actually naive enough to believe that stiff tariffs will “bring manufacturing back to the US,” which would require years of financial pain and restructuring to happen. But it’s probably simpler than that.
I think what he’s doing is just swinging his imaginary big dick around the world to show everyone who’s boss. No real plan to it, it’s just to feed his ego.
Sacks is a Network State kkklown. Everything he says should be taken with an infuriated wish for him to suffer.
