It’s a saying in trout fishing that ninety percent of the fish are in ten percent of the water. You just need to know which water. And this water looks pretty trouty to me.

Jail might be a preferred way to get away from Kimberly?

Are depositions under oath? I’ve never had to give one, but it sounds like some of these folks have a peculiar relationship with the truth.

I’d feel sorrier for this Dipshit Dauphin if he hadn’t reveled in the greed and cruelty.

These are deeply broken people.

As far as I know. Not much point otherwise.

ETA yep. Sworn evidence by definition.

$50,000 for a few rooms sounds about right.

Wait until the DC AG sees the mini bar line item for “coke” signed off by Junior for Heywood Jablomee’s room charges.

Absolutely and exactly why Trump wouldn’t do it in the Mueller investigation.

answered questions about a contract signed by the Trump Organization for a block of hotel rooms

This is so petty of the District of Columbia.

I’m lovin’ it.

Poor Junior. Life in Daddy’s alt-bubble has not prepared him for this.

The filing states that Trump’s deposition “raised further questions” about the nature of the invoice and, simultaneously, revealed new evidence that defendants had not yet been able to produce.

This is never a good sign for the deposed.

There was a year after college when he moved to Aspen, lived in a truck, tended bar, hunted and fished and skied. I pity that part of him. The outdoors is a refuge and source of renewal for a lot of folks, and he seems to know that, unlike his father, who simply doesn’t understand the concept of a thing bigger than himself. When Junior had covid he self-isolated in a cabin. If you went looking for a part of him that might have been redeemable once that’s where I’d start. It’s too late now, he’s in far too deep.

Love this sound when it comes to the Trump Crime Syndicate:

I think of it like the pact the surviving members of the Hitler family made, to not procreate so that the blood line would entirely die out.

Evolution produces some strains which are just pure evil, there is no possible redemption.
