Dominion CEO: Lawsuits Like One Against MyPillow Guy Is ‘Definitely Not The Last’ | Talking Points Memo

My feelings on Lindell are the same I have for Trump and that is there is not anything bad that happens to them is fine with me.

How is it that we as a country were helpless in the face of Trump’s contemptuous and destructive behavior toward our NATO allies, his threatening behavior toward our press corps and our citizens, his usurpation of executive powers to defy Congressional oversight and supoenas, his political support of domestic terror groups, his politicization of the the FBI, IC, and DOJ, his use of the AG as his shield and his sword, his efforts to derail the election and its certification by the states and by Congress, his incitement of violence and murder on January 6, and his exoneration after two (2) impeachment trials that did not hear testimony from a single live witness, and yet it is only the prospect of a CEO seeking damages in a defamation lawsuit that raises the realizable prospect of justice, accountability, and punishment?

Off topic but it looks like Fisher Price got the contract for the next USPS bread box

Dominion is not going to settle. Period. Damage is real and done. Period. They might get only what’s left after MyPillow is liquidated, but they will take it.

Lindell: as they say “smooth move ExLax”.

I just read an article regarding the Oshkosh contract with the USPS. I had to read why Workhorse dropped so badly today. But the most interesting read was Hyliion’s hybrid semi. It has both a diesel engine and a battery to save about 30% on fuel and emissions. They also have an electric truck with a renewable natural gas generator that can charge the battery for up to 30% less than grid costs.
What it looks like:

Kind of interesting that Nikola claims to have hydrogen costs down to 4 bucks a kilogram. They are working on getting it cheaper.
If Nikola can build their network of 700 truck stops for 11.6 billion, they will be the leaders in hydrogen.

Amazing, isn’t it, what people like Powell and Giuliani thought they could say without worrying about consequences?

If they lose these cases, maybe they can sue the bats in their belfry.

At least a Master’s degree for your question, never mind the answer.

We report, you decide. We retort, you elide. It’s one of those two, if not something else.

I wouldn’t either. I’d crush the son of a bitch and go hunting for the next one and then crush him. We used to call that “Sending a message”. It’s for people who are confused by emails.

On a somewhat funny criminal note as a parent, this kid’s secret for crashing zoom so she wouldn’t have to do school at home is funny.

Think of all the things they’ve been saying about individuals and (occasionally) other corporate entities without consequences for years, because “public figure” or “political speech” or no resources/not enough of a monetary claim to fund a case. If everyone falsely accused by a rightwing scammer had more than a few nickels as compensation, things might be different.

(Of course, altering the law to make that possible without some kind of godlike oracle about bad faith would also bankrupt every center and left public speaker…)

Modern America: every company will soon have a D or an R next to its name. Imagine the hoops that Republican jurisdictions are going to jump through to avoid awarding contracts to Dominion in future.

Derangement has consequences…the trial will be a grim reminder of how far these people went to Foster a lie and prop up a mental patient.
