I was kinda hoping for a trial, because it would demonstrate just how compromised the DoJ has become under Trump.

…and you’d think that the IG’s office would be angry about leaks of this nature to right wing writers – but its another indication of how compromised the IG’s office is that it doesn’t do a damn thing about them…

or about any of the leaks about Hillary that came from the FBI…

Wednesday evening by John Solomon, an opinion columnist for the Hill.Well according to this ass wipe and Hannity they are waiting to charge him with

Solomon: He’s got a day of reckoning coming, but there is more coming ahead…The more important thing to watch is the ongoing investigation by Bill Barr and what we know about the FISA [application]. They are learning some very troubling information about the FISA process and everyone involved remains under significant scrutiny…The AG is looking at the possibilities. Can I win this case in New York and if I lose this case in New York, what message does it send that a leaking FBI director got off? If there’s a better case to be made against James Comey, patience is sometimes the better part of prudence.

Solomon: I do agree with you. The sources are telling me to stay tuned. There’s a lot more to come down the pike on Jim Comey. He signed the first FISA agreement and that’s going to turn out to be a fraudulent or misleading document.

DOJ is too busy working with the FBI on raiding the Housing Office in South Bend to find dirt they can try to take Mayor Pete down with…

Charging Comey would be a distraction.

A year or two ago, this would have been the expected decision - do not prosecute a bogus case against the president’s enemy for purely political reasons.

Today, there’s more of an element of uncertainty about this kind of thing. In one sense, I’m actually rather surprised Barr didn’t step in and push the prosecution forward.

Obviously a Deep State decision made and released without Barr’s knowledge.

I think The Hill is a decent operation. Why in the world do they still publish the whackjob views of that lying sack John Solomon?

Oh I am sure their is more to come
According to Solomon’s sources, this was a technical violation, but the DOJ “did not want to make its first case against the Russia investigators with such thin margins and look petty and vindictive.”
Which is exactly what it would be!!!

That’s actually a good point! I can easily see Billy Barr flailing around the courtroom in the same manner as A. G. Kris Kobach, demonstrating in no uncertain terms that he was painfully ignorant of how the law actually works.

Could be that’s exactly why they twisted so hard - to keep that revelation very quiet…

As I’ve been saying, Barr is losing a lot of his value. Now that an impeachment inquiry has been commenced, one can look back at Barr and say he hasn’t done much.

DOJ prosecutors, according to the reports, determined that the conduct didn’t warrant prosecution, with one official telling Fox News, “Everyone at the DOJ involved in the decision said it wasn’t a close call.”

Duh.
