The report strains to find a beef with Comey. It settles on rapping him for some process offenses but is forced to admit that what Trump’s alleged, that Comey leaked classified info, is not true. No violations of law were found just FBI rules. But enough of James Comey. He’s a fucking puke of a person on a rehab tour. He played a role in electing Trump despite Trump’s denial. He had a visceral hate for HRC and that drove those actions. No Comey no Trump. The good part is he was sealing his fate when he was tipping the scales for Trump. Had Clinton won the fucker would still have a job. Karma baby!

Indeed, but watch Faux News…they’re literally running around claiming that this proved Trump right and that it shows Comey leaked classified information and therefore committed a crime WITHOUT mentioning that the classification came AFTER, which means there was 100% no crime or leaking of classified information in any way.

I don’t think Mark Felt complied with FBI policies and procedures when he provided information to Bob Woodward, either. I think I’m okay with FBI officials leaking information that reveals our presidents are corrupt and acting unlawfully to obstruct justice.
My view continues to be that Comey was set up and used to enable Trump’s win and he allowed it to happen through his naiveté and incompetence. I’m talking of course about the month or so preceding the election in which the NYPD and NY FBI sat on the Clinton emails on Weiner’s laptop without informing Comey until they felt it would cause Clinton maximal damage and give her and Comey insufficient time to undo this damage by showing how the emails contained nothing new.
The emails indeed turned out to be nothing and they knew this going in, but used their existence to bluff the impression that they were damning, by timing the disclosure of their existence at just the right time–not unlike the release of the bus video–and Comey was none the wiser until it was too late. He was a fool who was played, and I don’t believe he wanted Trump to win, as much as he despised Clinton.
Apology? We know from experience that not only will Trump and company keep repeating the lies, they will say that the Inspector General’s report confirms them.
Don’t forget: Rudy and his ex-FBI buddies created True Pundit, which was receiving back channel leaks from the NY FBI field office and they were using that platform to literally threaten Comey in tweets and other ways that they would leak the HRC information if he did not announce it.

Exactly. IMO this whole episode hasn’t been properly investigated by the media and desperately needs to be. It didn’t just throw the election, it represented major federal crimes committed by senior people in the NYPD and FBI. Those folks should be outed, charged, tried and imprisoned for years. They committed what is effectively treason, waging war against the US via non-military means.
Had this essentially fake story (that the emails were damning) been perpetrated solely by campaign officials, it would still be reprehensible and potentially criminal. But we’re talking NYPD & FBI people taking part in it. That’s fucking serious and represents a conspiracy to throw an election.
