Obviously common sense and critical thinking is lacking big time in this current maladministration. It was a computer glitch. No one rigged the voter rolls. And all this is clutching at straws is tedious.

6,200 non-citizens did not vote.
400 non-citizens voted.
And they specified that they were non-citizens when they registered for ID. At this time, it does not sound like a case for federal investigation.

Schoolcraft shows, over and over, that sometimes when real crimes would happen, serious crimes, the 81st precinct would reclassify them as lesser crimes-- or simply not put them in the system at all-- to make it look like the precinct was doing a better job driving down crime rates than it really was.
Schoolcraft recorded roll calls where officers were constantly being told to do more stop-and-frisks, even though it’s illegal to stop a random person on the street and frisk them without reasonable suspicion. In December 2008, a sergeant tells officers to stop-and-frisk quote, “anybody walking around, no matter what the explanation is.”

Old fart alert here, but is it a good idea to use “Gonna” instead of “Going to” in a TPM article headline?
I use that sometimes in posts here, but a comment section is different from how an online media site presents itself to the world. Doesn’t look professional to me, but maybe the world has changed. And get off my lawn.

I haven’t lived in WI for almost two decades, but I can’t figure our why people are freaking out that Hong is leading the Democratic field. Stop believing the GOP when they say our weakness is our left wing, when all evidence is that those are the candidates that are best energizing the voters!

Platner took out Platner and the Progressive operatives who recruited him did a sloppy vetting job.
The Right Wing cheered but not as much as they would have cheered if it had come out after he won the nomination.

Any prosecution would need to establish intent, which would be extremely difficult under the circumstances. Dillon wants all the names not so DOJ can prosecute those who voted illegally (in which case she’d ask only for their names), but to hand them over to ICE for potential deportation.

Trump wants to convince the country that every instance of a non-citizen being registered to vote is nefarious and part of a Democratic plot. If that were true, then 6000 of the non-citizens would have voted, not a mere 400. The numbers are also useless without any information about whether they were registered as Rs or Ds and whom they voted for. This is of a piece with Trump’s typical illogic: he takes the smallest irrelevant fact and blows it up into incontrovertible evidence that he’s right.

Like Oracle screwing-up Oregon and the fed ACA exchanges, another private-sector vendor incompetently fulfills their government contract. And then, the DOJ blames the government. Sounds like we need the required expertise in government to avoid these failures.
