Hey Trumpsters, take note: There’s a new sheriff in town.

one that appears to take process seriously even when the person involved hit some of your points.

This asshole is a prime example of why the Guardians Of Plunderers are slow-walking Garland’s DOJ appointments. Anything to sabotage and discredit its investigations of their seditious base.

I don’t mind what we was saying, but if it any way screws up prosecuting T****, then he should get locked up for a long time.

I suspect his purpose was to poison the well, creating a “pre-trial bias” defense for TFFG.

DOJ To Probe Trump-appointed Prosecutor For Unauthorized CBS Interview

… …
OK I’ll bite…
sounds dangerous. What sort of “probe”?
Seriously though, If I were a DoJ high level person that prosecutor would be “on the Carpet” and then packing up his desk.

The first rule of DoJ club…

The Trump KKKult is keenly aware of the idea of poisoning the jury pool to get or claim a mistrial, etc., right now. Faux News has been running with the voir dire in the Chauvin trial on a constant basis ever since it started and attempting to use dismissal of some POTENTIAL jurors when they’ve said things evidencing a bias against police or about BLM, etc. to create the impression that Chauvin can’t get a fair jury or trial (no, of course they didn’t focus in on the times a juror said crazed white nationalist shit or whatever)…when in fact what they’re actually showing is the voir dire process actually working to weed out potential bias and give him a fair jury. As with everything they do, the narrative is all spun around, upside down and inside out. I would not be at all surprised if this Trump-appointed dillhole was deliberately trying to feed a tainted jury pool narrative. Get his fucking phone records.

As always, I’m glad for these reports from parts unknown.

Thanks.

That prosecutor is already out of job. My read is that he was using this interview as an audition to become a legal analyst for Fox.

Sherwin? Yes.

I’m happy to see Channing Phillips replace him as US Attorney in DC — even temporarily.

I think he just wanted his time on camera and his narcissism allowed him to ignore all the potential harm it could cause.

He already resigned around jan 20, along with all the DAs, as is usual when the white house changes hands.

Yeah… Fox isn’t known for their ethics.

If he’s not working for the DOJ now, I’m surprised 60 Minutes didn’t clear the interview.

Yeah, they are. All part of the Murdoch package. The ethics of Klaus Barbie.

Right? Unless it’s an autopsy, they’re just playing games.

It’s not 60 Minutes’ job to clear an interview. And while Sherwin’s actions may have been ill-advised, he lit a fire under the butts of the FBI and DOJ to play hardball with these insurrectionists.
