Here’s the thing: none of the fake elector arguments make sense if you understand that Trump lost the 2020 election. It almost feels ridiculous to be litigating this more than five years after his defeat that year. But it’s necessary: this weekend, Trump pardoned the 2020 fake electors and several attorneys and campaign operatives who…
From today’s Where Things Stand: 'In a part of their appeal, the Trump Justice Department claimed that the judge’s order for the administration to make full November SNAP payments “threatens significant and irreparable harm to the government which outweighs any CLAIMED (infuriated emphasis mine) injury to plaintiffs.”’
i’m not sure I’ve ever read anything more sickenting than that evil little clause (which does seem so very fat sosiopathic Donny to me) in my entire life.
Kim Davis: Lucky in love, unlucky in law.
Here is the bottom line: Trump and the republican party have no intention of recognizing the will of the people, they will not hand over the reigns of power nor will they participate in democracy, their primary goal is permanent white Christian conservative domination of the levers of wealth and power. Either we stand and defeat these fascists or they enslave us.
Acknowledging that hope is not a strategy….. I hope that when there is a vote on health insurance assistance it is a strict party line vote so that the voters will clearly know who is to blame for their insurance increases, and that they can remember till next November.
We enter a dangerous phase when a delusional Mad King’s failures evoke rage, revenge and cruelty.
Early Dementia symptoms are signs the patient has created an imaginary world because they’re incapable of understanding the present.
It’s actually more likely that Democrats will put forth bill after bill that restores medical insurance assistance … and the Republicans refuse to put any of these bills up for discussion or vote. Which, with proper messaging, will amount to the same thing.
Keep talking Trump. The public is getting a better view of your policies, and how much you care for fellow Americans.
Yeah, I definitely agree --hope not being a strategy be damned…And I think it will be party line because I don’t see Trump in his current state “allowing” the Repubs to vote against his wishes. I don’t see why he would at this point, although I may be missing something…But I think --hope, basically – that they’re going to be trapped on the road they’ve been going down. And as you say, that’s going to have an impact on voters…
So what’s with the Mad King’s obsession with the 2020 election, other than his big mad against everyone and all the laws that thwarted his continued reign? Does Trump have some kind of insane belief that if he prevails in court, everyone will agree he’s “earned” a compensatory third term, no election needed?
Watch out. If he gets even one victory, he will try to force this upon the United States. At gunpoint.
Trump’s promise of $2,000 tariff dividend payments
Questions abound about who qualifies and whether enough funds are available.
… … … … …
Where I to get a check with trump’s name on it I’ll stamp it as " insufficient funds" and mail it to 1600 Pennsylvania ave in DC. Mebbe he could send actual cash instead. If so I 'd contribute it to the outfit I volunteer for. Lend-a-Hand feeds seniors here in Tucson.
Narrator Voice: Actually, only marginally better luck. This jewel has been wed no less than four times to three different men.
These are sincerely held Christian beliefs. Obviously.
Re: Trump Sues BBC
for accurately reporting that his speech on 6.1.2021 was to incite his hordes. (Lest we forget, incite to attack the Capitol, stop the electoral vote re-count, and assassinate the vice president and speaker.)
Here’s an appropriate cartoon from The Guardian:
Election Day, in federal law, is meant to define the deadline by which voters must make their choice and mark it on a ballot, or the deadline by which election administrators must receive that ballot.
The correct answer is (a) the deadline when voters mark their ballot.
Government serves the people. The people are the power. Another fundamental American value. Some Republicans might (still) believe that. The monied interests absolutely don’t.
Easy.
He hates being called a “loser.”
From what little I’ve seen of the pardon, it basically pardons everyone, including Wray, Smith, and why not Comey, James, etc.too.

The hat worn by the Wicked Witch of the West is going on auction.
Which is not one wit. DonOLD doesn’t see his job as public service. Hell no one deserves anything except him.
This statement is FALSE and ridiculous on its face. The government only exists to serve the people. It does not “eat” food, but the people it serves need food to live. The government is empowered to PRINT MONEY. It can buy as much food as it needs to meet all the demands of We The People through SNAP and it doesn’t even need permission of Congress to do so.
Cruelty may well be the point, but this rationale is just idiotic - probably because ANYONE who would agree to work for Trump at this point is (as Exxon CEO and Trump SoS Rex Tillerson so artfully admitted) is a fucking moron - just like Trump himself.
These people all need to be confined to a memory care / dementia unit somewhere in North Dakota and spoon-fed apple sauce spiked with Quaaludes to keep them from hurting anyone else.
