They are hurting themselves.

Whatever their feelings are, this is a Trump Play for Barr, nothing more, and he is willing to sacrifice their well-being to help Trump.

They are in precisely the same position as meat-packing workers, except they are purely volunteers.

I know it’s funny looking, but I’m getting a bit tired of that photo of Barr.

So again…it’s ‘states rights’ for stuff Trump doesn’t want to deal with. It’s the states that should be fighting each other tooth and nail ‘Survivor’ style for supplies but BY GOD AND BY TRUMP don’t be messing with the ‘Christians’ that swear it’s their RIGHT to breath on each other. OK.

Nice, but apparently practicing one’s religion grants the constitutional and god-given right to infect one’s fellowman.

He’s not exactly the Laughing Buddha, is he?

Not really, but in the cold game theory calculus, the virus won’t kill everyone, and those that live will cleave to the church even more, while those that die won’t be around to complain.

Indeed and Trump will be congratulating himself on the low numbers of deaths and how bad il could have been, even when the last surviving pockets of Americans are living in isolated caves and abandoned underground mines in the Mojave Desert.

Governor Northam has his regularly scheduled press conference at 2 pm ET today. You can bet any amount that some reporter will do their obligatory kowtow to the GOP and lazily ask on behalf of the GOP (essentially) “Why are you discriminating against Christians, Governor”?

Too lazy to set it up on Zoom and blaming the governor for that. These people are going to try God’s patience with these publicity stunts.

Let’s hear from some churches that actually are going along and not suing.

This has what to do with the poor and hungry masses?

And, hopefully they will have left a lot of money in the plate. After all, that is what this is about. It’s always about the fricken money.

Churches are not being “targeted”, no matter how badly Barr wants them to be viewed as maliciously maligned.
They are expected to follow the same socially-distancing guidelines as any other entity which encourages large numbers of people to congregate in close quarters.
