DOJ Takes Jabs At Trump For FBI Claims, Unsavory Business Practices

The Justice Department turns a scornful eye towards team Trump in its new filing, suggesting that it should be forced to make good on Donald Trump’s baseless claims about the FBI planting evidence and taking swipes at the former President’s infamous business practices.

I’ve never understood why any sort of tradesman, contractor or professional would ever support the man, given his long record of stiffing tradesmen, contractors and professionals. If The Rump lived in my town, the guys who love him the most, wouldn’t so much as deliver him a tank of propane without cash up front.

Oh yeah. first.

Perhaps requesting a special master wasn’t such a good idea. IMHO, team Trump is now itching to have Dearie removed by Judge Cannon. The easiest thing to do would be to exit out of the SM process.

Rule 11, assholes.

True to form, there is reporting that Trump “almost fired Jared and Ivanka via tweet.” What a complete coward and chicken shit!

Everyone knows—Dearie knows most—that this special master horseshit was thrown to slow and stink up the situation. I would like to listen in on the meetings where they tell the reeking pile that what he types on his failing app can’t be put on paper and submitted to a court. I hope someone’s capturing video for a documentary.

“Plaintiff brought this civil, equitable proceeding,” DOJ writes. “He bears the burden of proof. If he wants the Special Master to make recommendations as to whether he is entitled to the relief he seeks, Plaintiff will need to participate in the process by categorizing documents and providing sworn declarations as the Amended Case Management Plan contemplates.”

And if Trump decides to “participate,” I suggest that DOJ hand him a small thank-you gift: a participation trophy in the shape of a tiny golden toilet.

Next up, Trump requests a continuance to hire new counsel. Kise has cashed his $3M check and is nowhere to be found. Bobb is hiding, as are the rest. And Rudy can’t practice law in New York where Judge Dearie sits, because his license has been suspended. And this doesn’t fall within Alina Habba’s specialty, which is parking-lot law.

Actually, it was filed because Frau Ingraham embarrassed Boob on air that she’d wasted a couple weeks without requesting a special master to slow and stink up the situation. Trump saw it and demanded the team do what Frau Ingraham said on the teevee.

That ain’t no jab…

This is a jab:

"The United States has fulfilled each and every one of its obligations to the court, pertaining to the suit filed by Plaintiff.

Now, if the court doesn’t mind, we have indictments to write."

The whole point of Rule 11 is to deal with assholes, is it not?

It will be extremely difficult for even Trump to complain about a “rigged” system when even his own hand-picked judges rule against him in no uncertain terms. He’ll try, but I think he’s going to jail and, contrary to his statements otherwise, there won’t be much of a backlash when he does. So many Republicans will be glad to see him go, they’ll probably only make weak statements in Trump’s favor before changing the subject once Trump is convicted.

So what happens when Honest Don’s lawyers don’t complete the tasks Judge Dearie has assigned them by October 7th? Does he just rule that everything is available to the DOJ by default since Trump elected not to participate in the process he requested? Do his lawyers get sanctioned?

Very good analysis, the only thing missing is Boris Epshteyn, the man behind the scene with Trump’s ear, who is apparently driving this whole shit show by telling him that he’s entitled to those documents and should keep up the fight.

Let’s be careful about thinking that TFG cares one whit about what the DOJ says or thinks.

Even if they do finally hand down an indictment, a prosecution, a verdict and a sentence, he simply won’t care. He sincerely believes he can beat the rap. And he just might.

More or less.

For those unfamiliar, Rule 11 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure provides that the attorney signing every court filing automatically certifies that there is a good faith basis under fact and law for it, and you can get sanctioned if you don’t have it. And these assholes pretty transparently lack that good faith basis.

Basically, Judge Dearie is backing them into a corner consisting of their own bad faith.

Now Jared - I have a feeling the other half of this document drama is going to end with him in prison. Two billion dollars of absolutely unexplainable and financially irresponsible investment money from the Saudis is where that feeling originates from, I think.

I think the Honorable Judge Dearie is about as happy to be handed this flaming bag of poo as your average 9-1-1 center is to get drunken prank calls.
