I’m thrilled about this. Just over the moon. Not only could this investigation eventually lead to charges against those involved in Breonna Taylor’s death, but it’ll also expose Mitch McConnell Jr. uh Daniel Cameron’s lies and misconduct when he presented the case to the grand jury. Also, a consent decree will surely be entered into. All of which would be a huge step toward Black Louisvillans realizing some measure of equal justice.

The GOP is a study in not rising to expections, but sinking to them. There is not much difference between a country that can elect the first Black President and then turn around and elect the first fascist president eight years later.
The difference is messaging, money and stupid. Plus a hell of a game plan, with a lot of components, all geared to tapping faultlines present when my parents were born…
