Unclear If Blanche Will Try Again Earlier this month, the Justice Department reportedly withdrew subpoenas it issued to journalists seeking to compel the reporters to testify before a federal grand jury in Virginia. The odd reversal came after news outlets challenged the subpoenas, according to new reporting from the Washington Post and the New York…
Any ideas regarding messaging strategy to reign in the president, now that the US House of Representatives in the US Senate have weighed in against the optional war for which our president spent the lives of US service personnel (not his) and who decided to spend a $1 billion per day of our taxes?
I read the article twice looking for “Newsom’s pushback” before I re-read the headline!
“We’re going to go to the media company that released it, and we’re going to say, ‘national security; give it up or go to jail.”
And the neat thing is it doesn’t really need to have anything to do with national security at all, because if the government says it is, then it is.
LOL
I’d like to point out that those are our g-d documents, not Trump’s or Blanche’s.
Yeah yeah, top secret double probation secret, but ultimately, they’re ours.
To add a note off topic but not entirely, perhaps the best way to indent the wealth of the billionaires is to throw some of them into prison and take their wealth and redistribute it to the people of the country. Then give the rest of these leeches a choice: pay your fair share, or go to prison and lose everything.
An effort should be made to disbar Todd Blanche.
On what charges do you propose one of these billionaires be tried and convicted?
Tax evasion is an obvious one. Give them a million loopholes, and they still just have to skirt the law.
“Kushnerism”. Even Jared’s criming dad is an ambassador.
Huge defeat: Democrats left reeling after socialist earthquake in New York
House Democrats were left stunned on Tuesday night after two of their colleagues — including the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus — lost primaries to left-wing challengers.
Why it matters: The New York primary results are poised to double the number of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) members in Congress, something that is not sitting well with some moderates
Cool man! You found a dubie in the couch and you’re having it with morning coffee!

Why am I already getting tired of Newsome? And I like the guy.
National value-added tax. While VAT isn’t perfect, it is easy to collect. Billionaires rarely pay much income tax, but they consume. Denmark’s government debt-to-GDP ratio is a low, manageable 30%, while the US is closer to 130%. Hence the return of voodoo economics, magical IPOs, enfeebled macro policies, and billionaires not paying their fair share.
I’m not an economist (disclaimer), but I’ve read that a VAT is a regressive tax because it’s flat rate, and hits lower income people disproportionately. If it’s added to an existing tax system, it would also immediately spike inflation.
President Trump asks DOJ to look into gasoline price ‘gouging’
(CNN) - President Donald Trump said early Wednesday he ordered the Justice Department to look into what he called “gouging” by big oil companies.
Trump posted on Truth Social that big oil companies are not dropping prices at the pump in line with the lower prices they are paying for oil.
He wrote that oil prices are “dropping like a rock,” while customers are being “gouged” for gasoline. Trump warned that gasoline prices “better start going down” faster than what he is seeing.
The international oil benchmark Brent crude slid to under $77 a barrel on Wednesday. U.S. West Texas Intermediate was trading at under $73.
The easing continued after the U.S. and Iran struck a memorandum of understanding to work toward an end to the war.
