Everything from this DOJ can be assumed to fundamentally strike the same chord: Corruption; pleasing Benedict Donald while covering their own asses (preferably with a profit).
That’s pretty much it, the rest is a PR matter.
The bomber will either be identified as Antifa in some way or quietly dispensed with in some manner so as not to embarrass the primal cause.

Many, many things do not hang together in this story. But one sticks out. How ‘sophisticated’ an insurrectionist do you have to be to know that resetting your phone to factory settings erases the evidence trail? How many of the 1,500 Jan 6 defendants charged or convicted had wiped their digital trail? Who was he talking to all this time? Should I choose to visit the US (from Canada, where there is no visa requirment - yet) is it as simple as wiping my phone to keep US customs and immigration out of my personal life?
The whole story is fishy.

I’m trying to get to how much less than worthless this is:
What’s. the cost of treatment for an apendectomy, with in patient care for postoperative observation?
What’s. the cost of treatment for a severe measles infection?
What’s the cost of treatment for an industrial accident or being struck by a moving vehicle while personally observing all relevant laws?
Note: Let’s just suppose, for the sake of argument, that none of these hospitalizations require an ambulance, a ride in which could eat up a good part of that voucher.
ETA: And, once all of these costs are taken account of, what’s with relying on that voucher and health savings account except for betting that you’re never really going to have to use it for what it’s allegedly for?

At this point in the maladministrtion, we ought to take anything coming out of the Ka$H-Dollar FBI with a grain or two of salt. (Which we should at any time, anyway, but now more than ever.)
Yes, if the guy really wanted phone security, he would have just smashed his phone. How hard is that? It’s only money, and if he lived with Mom&Dad, his expenses would be limited. Heck, he had enough to fabricate black power, pipe bombs, timing mechanisms, and take a luxury trip to Washington, DC.
I’m further suspicious about the “further questioning” parts. Plenty of innocent dupes have “confessed” and given extensive details about their “crimes” and “associates” – just look at the Central Park Five and if you can stomach it, Guantanamo’s torture chambers. The quotes from this guy make him sound pretty unsophisticated. And isn’t that what his neighbors said about him?
I sure hope Trump doesn’t have him executed. Surely there is more to this story than we’re being leaked.

My guess is the Republican (natch) representative has no clue as to what folks are billed these days. Probably still thinks a chicken for the good doctor is all it takes.
And if Crenshaw’s looking at the amounts he/his accountant pay (1) after insurance is taken into account, or even what the insurance company pays, rather than what is actually BILLED, he’s in for a real shock.
