I’m willing to go along with Pelosi on not impeaching l’Orange if they instead impeach Barr. It would be an easier lift, and leave the boss dangling out there for duration of his term.

As the article notes, the two are no longer DOJ employees. Would Barr try to get a court to enjoin their appearance before Congress? And would a court go along? Not likely.

It has been surmised that Mueller’s testimony would accelerate the move toward Impeachment Inquiry among Congressional Democrats.
If this stunt results in significant changes in the conditions of Mueller’s appearance and /or cancels it altogether, there should be an immediate move among Democrats in Congress toward Impeachment Inquiry for Trump and Impeachment for Barr.
