DOJ: Hundreds Of Capitol Insurrection Cases Opened, Months Of Investigation Ahead | Talking Points Memo

I don’t think Trump is going to blanket-pardon his insurrectionists. But it would make for some interesting litigation (assuming Biden’s DOJ is willing to risk his own pardon powers).

Good time to sell real estate ? I don’t think so.

"As she walked up the stairs on the west side of the Capitol building, Ryan turned the camera to her face and said: “Y’all know who to hire for your realtor. Jenna Ryan for your realtor.”

It can be asserted, sure, but it does not legally follow from the mere fact of the pardon.

True, but impeachments are political, not legal.

Yes, he can, just like Carter pardoned those who left the country over the vietnam was draft. No, he can’t, because he doesn’t have anyone left sufficiently competent to draft the pardon. Plus, does helping write the pardon make you an accessory to obstruction of justice?

Soon to be followed by a boatload of civil cases by those injured in the Trump Insurrection, or those yet to come.

Every single person who was inside the Capitol, or who crossed barricades without authorization, committed a crime and needs to be arrested. And that was thousands of people, most of whom can be identified by cell tower records. The LEOs are just making excuses and slow-walking arrests because they do not want to arrest thousands of Trump supporters today any more than they wanted to arrest them when they were sacking the Capitol. It’s time Americans faced the truth. It is likely that those who are commanding this investigation are part of the problem. So until Biden is in power and can place responsible people in charge of the Justice Department, FBI, Homeland security, etc., this is going to be a slow, slog for the Capitol Police and other agencies who might want to arrest the insurrectionists.

Finally, a chance for the DOJ to regain some of it’s once (Pre-Trump) illustrious reputation.

Please proceed…

…Sending out half their police force to arrest the other half of the police force is demoralizing and makes for a staffing shortage for the remaining half that they now have to do double duty and can’t themselves go out to party on Sunday.

I think he’s decompensated to the point that, if he isn’t getting a pardon or a deal guarantee, then nobody’s getting a pardon. Ok, maybe Ivanka. But not Jared.

“Exclusive 1-bedroom, 1/8-bath unit available for double occupancy; minimalist architecture with grey-tone décor; located within walking distance of shower, laundry, and license-plate facilities; gorgeous views of exercise yard; 10-20 year lease; an absolute steal!”

Not necessarily. If she isn’t charged there’d be no need for a lawyer.
