Big new story in Washington Post about Trump harassing AG Rosen to investigate voter fraud DAILY after the election. My favorite tidbit is that the DOJ is telling Rosen and everyone else that in such extraordinary circumstances they may testify to Congress:
However, the letter continues, the “extraordinary events in this matter constitute exceptional circumstances warranting an accommodation to Congress in this case,” including lawmakers’ effort to determine “whether former President Trump sought to cause the Department to use its law enforcement and litigation authorities to advance his personal political interests with respect to the results of the 2020 presidential election.”
As a result, the letter said, President Biden “has decided that it would not be appropriate to assert executive privilege with respect to communications with former President Trump and his advisors and staff on matters related to the scope of the Committees’ proposed interviews, notwithstanding the view of former President Trump’s counsel that executive privilege should be asserted to prevent testimony regarding these communications.”

I’m going to make a speech in which I say it would be totally awesome if someone hit Mo Brooks in the head with an axe and it split his skull and you could see the brains, such as they are, and then it all got covered with blood and the body and the other head half were on the sidewalk and everyone around was screaming and puking and his feet and hands were twitching a little as the nervous system made its last random firings but that’s not incitement to violence, I want to be very clear about that. The words are literally an incitement to violence, just as his were, but since he’s a hot-shot lawyer and seems to feel that asserting otherwise means something, then it does. That’s logic.

No. Even a RWNJ site (which I will NOT link here) states this: “The word sheriff is not mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.” In this it is much like God, Christianity, and any other RWNJ tropes you care to mention. They just exist in their rich, delusional fantasy lives.
