How deep does this irritation go?

It only gets worse once you get a Ph.D. in a scientific field and then learn that politicians don’t give a damn about the reality you describe to them.

And the exceptions are rare.

Al Gore was one, even as (especially as?) a junior senator.

Funny thing is the so-called Deep State listens because many of them have lives that depend on it. DOD, CIA, CDC, NIH, DOE, …, you get the idea. They have one hell of a task trying to explain the need for funding up the chain, because the politicians are usually too dense and their eyes glaze over very rapidly. It’s hard to sell a concept to a politician unless you can present it with as little time as possible with a very big splash or unless the politician is very familiar with the area of which you speak.

“This bomb make big, big boom.”
“This paint coating make you disappear.”
“This rail gun make tiny projectile move so fast that it hit big object and vaporize it.”

Yes, that last statement is way too long.

It wasn’t this bad during WWII though it did take several big names to pull it off. Read the Einstein–Szilárd letter to FDR. That essentially kicked off the Manhattan project.

I believe all of us know your irritation is so deep it’s unfathomable.

That’s your response?

I won’t characterize it, but sleep well.

I don’t understand, maybe because I’m relatively new here, but I suspect that perhaps there is some history here. I hope I didn’t do anything to upset you. If so, then please accept my apology.

Reached for comment, Mok produced a one-word response:
“Pepcid??? Pepcid???”

I was referring to the constant irritability of cervantes - no offence at all.

If a conviction in this case doesn’t result in jail time and substantial forfeitures, it is a waste of time.

Matt Smith.
Tennant a close second.

Hoping this is a tip of the iceberg prosecution, which will be expanded to include forms of fraud performed outside of the practice of medicine.

Be a good thing to use this process as a way to start tracing where shipments of PPE have ended up.

Bowels can be such a touchy sensitive issue.
