Perez has no reason to resign over something that was primarily the fault of the IDP. The only fault I would say that Perez might share in is the idea that caucuses had to be preserved in order to placate one faction of the Dem wing that they would benefit from. I think he’s been coddling that wing for too long and now the fault lines are quite clear. When it blew up in their faces, then it was the DNC at fault.
He absolutely needs to stop the “first in the nation” IA/NH illusion.
I vote for Pete Buttigieg for next DNC chair…although that’s a neutered position and he has far more potential than that. So I take it back.

Tom Perez has always seemed to me to be weak tea. I wish Howard Dean or someone Deanlike were in charge. We need a more aggressive fighter than Perez seems capable of. The time for nuance is long over and the DNC needs a street-fighter, not a diplomat. IMHO.
