The same Charles Johnson that’s associated with McDaniel. So much for any credibility.

OMG!!! Conservative journalists making up stuff about the Democratic Party?

Does FOX “news” know about this?

Sue their asses, Senator. Sue their asses for every grifting dime you can get.

This is sweetly ironic; a Red Baiting Right Wing rag is baited by the Reds.

The surest way to make mistakes it to assume you don’t make mistakes. There’s absolutely no way Johnson could know if the Cubans were or weren’t involved in setting all this up, but he’ll go gung ho insisting they’re not and that he’ll be vindicated; based entirely on nothing but his own hubris. I mean, he imagines himself an aircraft carrier? What does that even mean?

Confidence is good, but it needs to be backed by something or it’s just delusion. But that’s the biggest problem with modern conservatives, in that they really believe that hype and PR is all you need to win; and don’t understand that there’s a real world out here that needs to be checked every once in awhile to make sure you’re doing it right. And if all you care about is hype and marketing, you’re surely going to get stuff wrong.

The best salespeople are also the most gullible. And that’s why conservatives keep screwing up, as they continue to get high on their own supply; entirely unaware that the basis for their belief system was a hoax perpetrated by people who knew how the game was played. These days, they’re just playing themselves and don’t know it.

“Carlson did not respond to an email or phone message from TPM on Tuesday”

If Charles C is involved, there is a god fearing man.

So where’s your “Mission Accomplished” banner?

A story about journalists, and a picture of Tucker Carlson?

Where does HE fit in?

If true, you gotta give the Cubans some credit. Who else but morons like Carlson and Johnson would be stupid enough to fall for it.

“It’s bizarre on its face, but also fascinating," Carlson said.

Sort of my thoughts on how Carlson manages to have any more than three fans.

Yeah, and he also has a copy of that “whitey” tape too.

What a maroon.

Carlson:
‘Obviously we’re skeptical, but we’re making calls right now to see what we can dig up.’

Yo Tucker? When that shovel hits something solid?
Might well assume it’s Richard Mellon-Scaife’s rotting corpse.

Um, yeah…real credible sources here. Menendez may well be right.

Intelligence agencies have been planting false stories and spreading propaganda for years. The tactic is referred to as Active Measures. It’s the price we pay for a free press. The only defense is to rely on trusted journalistic sources and maintain a healthy* skepticism.

*Note: We’re way past healthy in many instances and some people have given their favored journalists/activists a cult like status.
