Anyone notice that Chuck Todd doesn’t look like a Chuck? He looks more like a Walter Todd, Wally Todd of MSNBC now that’s more like it !
Welp, I guess now the only thing left is for Obama, Biden, and all the other Democrats in Congress to resign, and let the Republicans take over.
No Chuckie, your hairline is over. President Obama is not.
Poor little Upchuck Todd!
His ability to analyze polling numbers is akin to the ability of a three-toed sloth to do the same thing…
Please explain what poll numbers have to do with the effectiveness of a President who isn’t running again.
WSJ and NBC only pay for the poll.
Neither company does the actual polling, which is performed by a professional polling organization.
Observations coming from anyone who still sports that 90’s douchebag facial hair should be taken with the utmost grain of salt.
Can the “Obama achieves lame duck status earlier than most” stories be far behind? It is all useless rubbish. That’s why, after decades, I have turned off the Sunday wanking-heads shows and do not plan to return.
well, this frees up chuckles to devote his hourly show to nothing but clinton instead of the usual daily 45 min. because, you know, he hasn’t been obsessively yammering about clinton since November 5, 2011…
the question is… will he have enough time to reveal the soup of the day.
It is a well known fact that a VanDyke will elevate a man’s IQ by 2 points. Chuck Todd now has an IQ of 2.
Excuse me, that’s Redneck Chic, thank you.
Look around any NASCAR race or an episode of Cops.
I find the comments I have read on here ignorant and unhelpful. Todd would have given an honest appraisal of his reading of this poll, and he’s very knowledgeable. Calling him a poopy head adds nothing.
“Dewey defeats Truman!” - Chuck Todd
Thank you for your input, Mrs. Todd.
27 percent said they will back an independent or third party candidate.
Uh huh, yeah. Sure they will.
Anyone who thought this poll had value needs to reread that line again and again.
The president gets up every day to to do his job, more and more faces a shitstorm of complicated and terrible international disasters, an intransient Congress, a very loud and often libelous right-wight media, a wishy washy progressive media, leads an apathetic public who can tell you the name of a celebrity’s baby before they can tell you about domestic affairs, and these are the people being polled. We’ve become a nation of uninformed voters who would rather focus on screaming housewives from somewhere or other and they read nothing and hear nothing and that’s whose opinions we’re getting. Todd really ought to go back to Lisa and give her another noogie and stop bothering us…
“If Nancy Pelosi is elected Speaker of the House, George W Bush will see his poll numbers above 50 by the summer”
-Chuck Todd, 2006
What you have to understand is that the corporate “news” is indistinguishable from ESPN except that the sport is politics. On ESPN, their pundits are under constant pressure to say something controversial so that they can do segments for the rest of the day about what pundit X said earlier. Pundit X: “Johnny Manziel will be the biggest bust in NFL history”…BREAKING NEWS: our own (fill in pundit name here) shocked the sports world today when he claimed that Johnny Manziel will be the biggest bust in NFL history. Joining us now is a a panel of all our other pundits to discuss this shocking claim for the next 10 minutes. Rinse. Repeat as necessary. So now they’ll dedicate 5 to 10 minutes of each hour show to discussing this self generated piece of “news”. It makes it easier to fill up time, which they sure aren’t going to use to educate or inform their viewers, they gotta put something on.
Yes, Gregory is a tall glass of water. But I believe Todd is well below average…I think I remember reading he is about 5’2"
Last I heard his formal title was “Chief Political Stenographer” at NBC.
And they’re sure as hell not going to back Obama’s third campaign for the presidency.
