Irrespective of John McCain’s heroic stay in a POW camp and his accomplishments as a US senator, the first line of his obituary will be that he was willing to put a complete idiot one heart beat away from being the most powerful person in the world.

So, where is TMP’s coverage of the VA scandal? Aides report Obama is “madder than hell” but has yet to make a public comment.

Typical Palin whining and foolishness. She links to articles by Salon and Politico which exposed the falsity of the tabloid stories.

Compare that the the repeated and unapologetic charges by Karl Rove, the most famous (and still active) republican political operative in the history of the republican party.

Why is anything that she says even relevant or remotely deserving of a morning LEAD story on any news/political blog? TPM why even run this story?? File it under the irrelevant or who the F**k cares what this loathsome person thinks.

No one started a “rumor”, Sullivan included. Sullivan’s point - which still hasn’t really been satisfactorily addressed - is that Sister Sarah’s reconstruction of the chronology of events of the last couple of weeks of her pregnancy is somewhat hard to swallow whole. It’s a tiresome subject and the former half-term Governor of the North Pole has become increasingly irrelevant, so it doesn’t need to be rehashed. But it ain’t a “rumor”; it’s instead an actual story that really starts to come apart at the seams once you try to make it all fit together.

For Sista Sarah, logic is a rorschach test.

Hillary didn’t put her brain on display to attract sympathy voters. Conservatives pursued her like rabid dogs. Conservatives have missed the irony that they wailed that she faked the injury to escape testifying, and now they claim that she sustained brain trauma. How is that possible if she faked the injury? Crazy people, all of them.

“Obama topped McCain with Joe Biden.” OK, that’s the single dumbest thing I’ve read so far today - and that includes Sister Sarah’s comments in the story above.
