I recall many bloggers commented about her judgment in making a trip to TX late in her pregnancy and her risky decision to fly back to AK while in labor. Those comments and insinuations had nothing to do with her son. It was all about her and her decision-making.

Palin, like a sizable chunk on the right, can’t parse the differences between supermarket tabloid gossip garbage and the broader media. To them, “liberal media” means “any news outlet that doesn’t scream right-wing talking points at me all day”. Sometimes it’s probably them just being disingenuous, but I think Palin is probably stupid enough to truly not understand those types of nuances. I don’t recall anybody outside of maybe some junk journalist’s gossip blog that lent any concern over her children. And the only thing that really sparked that was the obvious propping of her own children.
Well you can see why she’s confused. In her world, there is no difference between the fringe and the mainstream and she assumes it must be that way here in the land of the sane.
Instead of attacking Hillary why can’t she support her! Based on Palin’s past experience how it was wrong for people to start the spurious stories about her - it’s just as wrong for people to do the same as Hillary!! All this woman does is attack, attack, attack!! I have no idea how anyone can support her, those people must be so angry.

The thing that makes Sarah such a star in the right wing constellation is her unfailing ability to work both narratives–almost always in the first person–into her every public pronouncement.
That’s a fact. I can’t think of a major mainstream media person or Democratic figure who went anywhere near it. Sully loathes her and was inclined to think the worst. The Alaska papers pursued it with what I’d call gentle persistence long after the election in what seemed like the hope of simply clearing it up once and for all. Sarah might be genuinely resentful but the Hillary comparison really doesn’t work.
must be tough, to look at somebody like Hillary and know that she’s got more i.q. points on the north side of one hundred than you’ve got starting from zero.
