Are there indicators that Democrats will take back the Senate? I have not seen any.

Even if this is true, not sure why as neither will win the presidency. They are merely delaying the inevitable. And once Sanders or Clinton is president, not only will one of them get to nominate a replacement for Scalia, but the Notorious RBG will announce her retirement and the Democratic president will get to replace her as well. And so on and so forth. By year six of the next Democratic presidency, Roberts, Alito and Thomas will be the only three conservatives left on the court.

Dems have a lot of interest groups who should be motivated to flip the Senate AND elect a Dem president. Berniacs interested in overturning Citizens United. Minority groups looking to protect their voting rights. Immigrant groups looking to preserve Obamaâs executive orders regarding deportations. Pro choice groups looking to stop the chipping away at Roe v. Wade.
