Gosh, rather than just commenting on the price of music, couldn’t Gowdy have mentioned why it might be morally wrong to raise the price of a life-saving drug by 1500%?

Well then here’s a “reasonable” response to both Gowdy and this asshole kid …I say kids because I am considerably older than he is:

Shkreli won a WHOLE bunch of cool points for his showdown with Chaffetz and Gowdy.

Gowdy said he was “stunned” by Shkreli’s claim that his album purchase could subject him to incrimination.

Well, if true Gowdy is an idiot. Shkreli is, or may be, the defendant in various legal actions both civil and governmental that place at risk his personal assets. Monies he has spent, invested, lost, stolen, swindled or otherwise has a relation to could be attached or seized or have liens placed against them. Refusing to comment about anything related to his private finances or expenditures is perfectly understandable. Gowdy is a lawyer, he could dispense with the stupid act any time now.

Gowdy served as clerk for John P. Gardner on the South Carolina Court of Appeals. As well as, for United States District Court Judge George Ross Anderson, Jr… He then went into private practice before being selected as a US federal prosecutor in April 1994.

If there is a special place in hell for low-lifes like Shkreli I hope he goes there for an eternity and beyond. There finally appears to be one person who could bring two rival factions in the House together towards common cause. I’m actually surprised the GOP Reps. didn’t try to protect this asshole’s business practices…They do it in every other BigPhrma case where prices are jacked up to an ungodly degree. Shkreli is only one of a many that do this with life-saving meds. Perhaps Congress might want to broaden their investigation and look into that while they’re at it.

I got no kinda love for Smirkface- he represents the lowest form of humanity. But what the hell was this dog-and-pony show supposed to accomplish? It is just misdirection from the fact that the entire for-profit world of medicine is utterly f@#$ed. Medicare is not even allowed to negotiate with its biggest suppliers. What Shkreli did was legal. It does no good to huff and puff about it for the cameras then go back to business as usual. If he committed a crime, indict him. Or change the damned law to disallow egregious behavior like this.
