That issue of a secure server with a house filled with secret service is never mentioned. Do these clowns (media for sure) reallly believe a Secretary of State who probably knew she would be running for president, would send classified documents or receive classified documents and be so careless? I find that very difficult to believe. This is a briliiant woman who is very cautious at all times. It makes no sense

My reaction is NOTHING like your commentersâŚI agree with the Pentagon. He is receiving his pension for his time in the military. He did his job, he put his time in and gets his pension. What he did while in the CIA is a different issue. I for one, am sick and tired of having to destroy a person for crimes at a period in their lives.

Exactly⌠and in this case old-boy general staff taking care of one of their own⌠it is one example of many why I donât believe for a NY minute the military will ever get a handle on sexual harassment, or any of the myriad other problems. Until senior officers are held to the same standard as the lowest boot private nothing will change.

Not a hell of a lot⌠he had to pay $100K fine for example. Well as a retired general he gets over $250K, plus many many other bennies, retirement pay annually. And of course he also gets the ultimate prize of a very well paying position for doing nothing with at least one MIC firm.

But I doubt he would be âdestroyedâ by being demoted to three stars. Anyone else in the military would have been severely punished and demotion would have been a given.
An E4 or E5 would head straight to the gallows, no stop at Go.
