Discussion:

Maybe he just played one on TV. Sure seems like that sometimes. Or maybe he just watched while the PA did most of the actual surgery.

It wouldn’t mean anything. All surgeons flip out in the OR (quite often, actually). Scrub nurses are so used to it that it’s unlikely they would have noticed unless he attacked someone physically during an operation.

One sicko for sure. He’s a pyscho

Thanks doc. Laughter is good medicine. More please.

Yea really. Just because he was competent at one time doesn’t mean he hasn’t lost some mental ability since he retired. Maybe a side effect of those nutritional supplements he took?

As an old OR nurse , scrub, circulator, and head nurse of neurosurgery in a big teaching hospital.
I call BS on your post. I’ve seen many surgeons perform calmly in life/death situations. Giving Doctors carte blanche on being assholes is never valid.

Armstrong Williams is his business manager? Seriously?

I am convinced that his deficiencies are WHY he retired. He is very young to retire if he could have still been a successful surgeon. No one in the field is likely to rat on him though because they don’t want to get sued. Right or wrong, getting sued costs you $$$$.

I had a cardio-thoracic surgeon do a sabbatical in my lab. Good eye-hand coordination but little interpersonal social skills and even less common sense. He found out, after being cautioned that 37% hydrogen peroxide can burn, that if not diluted one to ten that yep …it can burn. But, he was a surgeon and didn’t need to listen to a lowly PhD.
Carson reminds me of that guy. Outside of his specialty he shows remarkably little knowledge.

Because they’re so virtuous, conservatives don’t have to answer for anything or even tell the truth.

Or maybe his drop is what caused him to look for some kind of mental boost from supplements?

I don’t know what’s worse, you lying your ass off, or not knowing what’s going on!

Either way, NO Presidency for you!

Truer words…

I’ve known at least one person who told me an absolutely outrageous lie and when confronted on it simply denied it in a way that I thought had to be at least in part delusional. But that was a private thing between two people. If something similar is going on with a candidate for the Presidency, a successful candidate no less, then we’re in a very strange place in our history.*

*which we clearly already are but whoa.

Picturing BenCarson as a Zombie…

Everyone calls him a famous or “great” neurosurgeon. I think Carson is spinning his own narrative and people are buying it. He’s a liar and will get caught out.

Ai-yai-yai! What can I say? I memorized by Carson, too, but in a different way, if you know what I mean, and I think you do.
