I don’t think Bernie has a chance to win, but if he can pull Hillary to the left, rather than the GOP pulling her to the right, then his candidacy would be a huge success.
Well, it looks legit that Bernie is winning in NH. But, so was President Obama, and he ended up losing. Why did PPP poll such a small number of voters?
and i remember how George McGovern was doing just what Bernie is doing and how did that work out. its nice to make all these promises but getting them through a Republican gerrymander congress is another thing. another fact is that he claimed he wasn’t a Democrat but an independent. if he loses will he still stay independent?
Don’t get me wrong i like him but can he really win the presidency?
He could conceivably win NH and nowhere else.

Hillary will have no easier time with a repub congress. Anybody who argues otherwise is just cheerleading.
As far as the McGovern analogy… In today’s context, given what the republican party has become, I’m dubious. Not to mention the extremely unlikely recurrence of the Eagleton (or Shriver) problem. I’d say this was the largest issue regarding the election results, not McGovern’s politics.
Also, Nixon’s stature at that time was not what it was about to become and the advantages of incumbency can’t be ignored here either.
Moreover, if Hillary can’t beat Sanders (technically not a Democrat) in the primary with her universal name recognition, then it’s clear to me her strengths are overrated.
Regardless of one’s preferred candidate, we should all be happy it’s competitive.

Bernie Sanders is going to win the primary race. Your negative comments about Bernie is just an excuse not to participate. People are working hard to elect Bernie. If you just want to be sitting it out then at least keep your negativity to yourself. That would be an improvement!

George McGovern was decades ago and if he was elected we would have ended the Vietnam War 5 years earlier. Bernie Sanders is running in 2015 and he is going to win. Stay positive. Many many people are working to get him elected. Stay positive or keep quiet. Your negative comments about the future are just one person’s negative opinions. You really don’t need an excuse to do nothing but stay out of the way of people trying to make change. Bernie Sanders 2016.
