Big drops for Chris Christie, Rand Paul and Scott Walker between March and August.

Big gains for Trump, Carly Fiorina, and John Kasich.

Everyone else is polling about the same as they have been.

Whew. Was starting to feel a little bit uncomfortable that the last few TPM stories weren’t about Trump.

Considering the other polls, possibly not so much Trumpmentum as Trumpnertia.

I’m just waiting for the day that Marshall (formerly a “Trump is a joke and will affect nothing”) commentator switches from “we all know he won’t be the nominee” to “he might be the nominee”.

This is a likely voter model, whereas most other polls have been Republican voters in general. If he stays at the top of the heap through Thanksgiving I really think he could wind up pulling this thing off. I’m sure there are some Trump admirers out there who are still listening to the conventional wisdom that he can’t possibly win, so they’re sticking with another candidate they think stands a better chance. But if his numbers hold and he continues to drown out the rest of the field, those folks might start to think he’s viable and throw their support behind him.

Our plan is working even better than we imagined, comrades.

So what happens if we hit November 1st, 2016 and Trump says “haha just joking, actually a Democrat, you should vote Hillary”?

Iowa and New Hampshire combined comprise less than 1.5% of the US population yet the media laps up every Iowa or New Hampshire poll as if they are the whispers from the Gods. Not just that, it was a poll of 414 likely ® voters…FROM NH! What is that–1/1000th of a percent of the US population? Shit, my cat would be just as credible a predictor of the 2016 election as polls from Iowa and New Hampshire 16 months before the election!

C’mere you fat furry freak. Yeah, I’m talking to you. I’ve a very, very serious question to ask you. Yessss, your a prrrretty kitty. I’ll brush you in a moment, remember I’ve a very, very serious…oh…what’s that? Yes, I’ll give you a treat in a minute as well. I’ve really really, really serious—stop that! I am not a chew toy! Look at me damnit! Concentrate! Will Donald Trump when the 2016 election?

— waiting —

A sneeze? How am I supposed the interpret that? Could it be the hair? What a minute folks… He’s doing something…looking very thoughtful… Head bowed…whiskers twitching…nose wiggles onces, now twice…and… he’s licking his ass.

Well…uh…I guess that a pretty clear statement. Donald, your toast.

Tune in next week and I’ll ask him about Ted Cruz.

I’m sick of all 17 of them.

OOOhhh. And then comments on President Trump telling Andrea Merkel she’s acting all crazy because she’s bleeding from her sex hole.

Who will be the first GOP candidate to claim that Big Bill was actually the person who talked Captain Combover into running?

My money’s on Aqua Buddha.

Multi-like! I clicked the heart over and over again, just made sure it was an odd number of times…

Somehow, I think Angela Merkel is past that point at age 61. Course, that wouldn’t stop the Donald from proclaiming such.

Has anybody bothered to compare GOPer aspirants to any Democrat? Or are we only gonna hear about the GOPers?

Didn’t Newton say those two things were the same?

Do you mean that there are Democrats in the race?

Unfortunately, Paul has moved on.

Are you sure about your interpretation? Licking his ass sounds like a pro-Trump move. Maybe you need to massage the numbers some more, I understand numbers are particularly fond of belly-rubs.
