And take down that horribly edited picture of him, that’s awful.

Whether Megyn Kelly has talked about sex, or whether Donald Trump has, isn’t the point.
The point is that if you want to be President, you have to take a boatload of shit on a daily basis, and take it like a (wo)man. Just ask Barack Obama. And if Trump can’t stand the heat, he does not have what it takes to be President.

The worst thing about the picture, apart from the shoddy work and the lack of ethics, is the credit “TPM Illustration”. There was a time when TPM would have been ashamed to associate itself with such an image. I suppose it marks another step in the devolution of TPM from cutting-edge political analysis to tabloid gossip rag.

I know it is “the responsible thing” to cover Trump’s excesses, and to treat him like a serious candidate, but he’s not a serious candidate, and it’s not our responsibility.
