Whether its maintaining profitable finances or winning personal grudges, its all that Trump really cares about.

This won’t faze his supporters.

He’s their God.

And if, in fact, this were a presidential race that reflected competence, vision, and progress all of these revelations would, logically, hurt the candidate.

But we have denigrated our Presidential politics to the point where none of this matters. It really is about bread and circuses, and shiny objects, not a better future for ourselves and our children.

So, until something shinier than Trump’s hair comes along, this is what we are stuck with.

In the meantime, I suggest we all invest in popcorn futures–it’s going to be a long 18 months.

A “reality” show is the closest comparison I can make.

People seem to have taken them as being real.

But as “What’s The Deal?” pointed out, Trump had hired a contractor that employed what was known as “the Polish brigade” – more than 200 undocumented immigrants – to clear the way for Trump Tower in New York City. (Trump was later sued and denied any knowledge of the undocumented workers, even though his company supervised the demolition.)

If the Republicans want to stop The Donald, Mitt Romney should get the old gang back together, and cut off his hair. Without that thing on his head, he’s nothing.

[/quote] I don’t totally understand the allegations: he convinced people to take a risk on his predatory get-rich-quick schemes. They were foolish and gave their money to him, without getting rich. So? No wonder the footage never got aired. More troubling is the guy who seems to accusing of shoddy workmanship.

I think the hiring of immigrants as cheap laborers is what will turn off a few.

Very few.

To me, it sounds like the company that was ‘hired’ would have ‘supervised’ the demolition.

What’s striking about watching “What’s The Deal?” today – and learning its backstory – is that so much of what kept The Donald in the headlines in the late '80s still rings true going into the 2016 election.

If anyone ever did care, Poland’s in the EU now. Still illegal (by the contractor that hired them – maybe not a real trump connection) if the story is true, but much of an outrage factor.

Reality shows, pro wrestling, and soap operas do have their believers. At least the Three Stooges films were preceded by a warning not to try the stunts at home.

Capsule review: I watched the whole thing—it was a slow weekend—and guess what? Today’s narcissistic clownish blowhard was yesterday’s narcissistic clownish blowhard too. The only possible question it could help answer is whether he does ridiculous things for rational reasons because he’s very shrewd, or whether he does ridiculous things because he’s ridiculous. The weight of the evidence seems to be in favor of that second option.

So this is Trump oppo research week? All dirt must move. I don’t think Trump’s base is going to care and I suspect the rest of us already know or at least suspect.

Whenever I get out of the subway station at Columbus Circle, I marvel at the big black erection (otherwise known as the Trump Tower). The Donald has placed his erections all over NYC. The question is: where is Godzilla when we need him?

Just watched the documentary. Everything that he is doing today is foretold in the documentary.
